Sydney's Taronga Zoo

It was a great winters day in Sydney so we went to one of Sydney's great iconic venues.

Juice and I at Taronga Zoo.

Little Rock Wallaby - they're not much larger than small dog.

Juice and I went to meet Sydney's newest addition.

Meet Pathi Harn (Thai for Miracle) Taronga Zoo's newest little member.

One of our favourites was the Red Pandas

In their natural habitat the Himalayas.

Not much bigger than a cat these little critters are so cute.

The Lions made us miss SA and look forward to our Sep Trip.

We even got to see a Tiger.

Rugby: Aus 20 vs Eng 21

Due to the fact that I've been unable to make it to SA for the football world cup.
I joined Martin & Janice for some international rugby!

ANZ Stadium or as you may know it: The 2000 Olympic Stadium.

The game was Australia vs England.

Who to support?
Janice was backing England.
Martin was backing Australia.

England won the game 21 to 20.
Janice was the real winner.

Vivid Sydney

Once again Sydney puts on a show for all to be amazed - Vivid Sydney
www.vividsydney.com

It's the Opera House but not as you know it.

'Vivid Sydney' is a lighting festival during June where all the famous Sydney land marks are lit up in amazing colours

Even words

Poignant moment it reads "A great distance to reach me."
Made us remember how far away our family and friends are.

St Mary's Cathedral.

Wait until next weekend for some more 'Vivid Sydney'

Last 2 weeks

Thanks to all the rain we stayed indoors most of May and early June other than going to 2 birthday parties.

One of Sydney's icon restaurants Grotta Capri.

The Grotta setting is based on the Blue Grotto on the Island of Capri.

Happy B-Day Martin.

Happy B-Day Sarah (White dress)

Yes we went bare foot bowling.

As you can see by scattering of the bowls nobody was taking this seriously.

This turned out to be such a laugh.
