Day 5: Wentorth, Lake Mungo, Hay

Day 6: Wagga Wagga, Cootamundra, Goulburn, Sydney

In Wentworth Australia' 2 largest and longest rivers meet.

In the early years Wentworth was one of the largest ports in Australia.


The Darling and Murray rivers meet.

Perry Hill Sands just outside Wentworth

Perry Hills is a small pocket of red sand dunes with wonderful sunsets.

Kimble - Juice making dune shadows.

Some how these wild melons grow in the sand.

Lake Mungo was a very large inland lake thousands of years ago.

This is the sight of the oldest skeleton found in Australia, 40 000 years old.

Hay is a large Sheering town

Stopped off in Cootamundra the town where Don Bradman was born.

Australia's greatest cricketer.

Goulburn is home to the "Big Marino"

In total we drove 3500km in 6.5 Days

What an amazing trip. would recommend it to anyone looking to find the real Australia.

Day 4: Cameron Corner, Tibooburra, malparinka, Broken Hill
Day 5: Broken Hill, Silverton, Wentworth.

The place is dry, they haven't seen rain in 3 months.

Broken Hill is the mining town where BHP started 'Broken Hill Propriety' the largest mining company in the world.

NSW Outback - Part I


Kimble and Juice decided to head out into the NSW Outback over the Easter holidays.

Day 1: Sydney, Lithgow, Bathurst, Orange to Dubbo.
Day 2: Dubbo, Bourke
Day 3: Bourke, Wanaaring, Tibooburra, Cameron Corner.



Bourke has a population of 3200 on the Darling river.



The Darling river is Australia's 2nd longest river.
In the early years it was used by paddle steamers to take wool to melbourne.


Towns started get really small the further we went.

After Bourke the roads turned to red sand.

Emus are the most curious birds. they'll come towards you if you stand still.

The last town before Cameron Corner.

Juice got that Namiba feeling. There's just nothing out here.

At last Cameron Corner.

Where is Cameron Corner?

Cameron Corner is where New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia meet

You drive through 3 time zones as you enter each state.

This is the "Dog Fence" the longest fence in the world. It runs for over 5500km

It keeps the dingos out of the various states and away from the cattle stations.
