Hello 2011 - fireworks time!!!!

This was our vantage point for this years fireworks - Garden Island.

NYE is always something special in Sydney. Have to see it to believe it.

End of year Tri Club Functions

Was a busy Dec with Tri club and swim squad functions


First up was dinner for the Balance Triathlon Club


Juice and I swim and train with most of these people every week.

2km Newport Swim

Juice and I went down to Newport Beach for the 2km Ocean Swim Race.Was slightly longer this year - around 2.2km




At the start with our Friend Sarah (Our swim coach's partner)



Juice heading out for the 2km. It was rather chilly so Juice wore her rashy.


44mins later Juice returned. Well done Juice.

Juice B-Day: U2 and Muse concerts

This year for Juice's birthday we went to 2 music concerts


1st - Thursday: MUSE
we really enjoyed it. Made us feel like young teenagers out partying


2nd - Monday: U2
So looking forward to this.

Bilgola Swim

On Sunday, Juice and I entered the 1.5km Bigola ocean swim.


Bilgola is one of the more picturesque of the Northern Beaches.


It was a hot summers day and Juice was ready...
Until we found out the water temp had dropped to 16deg.

Ironman WA 2010

Yes it was time for another manic day of exercise.
I was going to do my 3rd Ironman Event.

Ironman Western Australia in the town of Busselton.

Clearly my race number was #550.

Sitting at the swim start. You can see the 1.9km turn around point at the end of the jetty.

Off we go, 3.8km swim - 1h04.
